Where do I begin?
There are two parts to becoming a member of The Sims 2 Writers’ Hangout: the forum and the website. Both the forum and the website have separate accounts to log into.
Most of our activities take place on the forum. This is where we began, and this is the main place of communication. The purpose of this website (what you’re reading now) is to extend the forum and provide extra blog-format articles, access to upload entries for special contests, as well as access to the shout box on the home page.

** New forum registrations require approval from an administrator. Please be patient, approval may take anywhere from a couple days to over a week. Do not contact us about approving your account unless one week has passed.
Your first stop
What should be the very first thing you do at The Hangout? Why read the rules of course! By reading the rules, you will prove to everyone that you’re an intelligent asset to this community. Often in large groups, people have a tendency to grow a little tired of the same questions being posted over and over. So please do yourself and all of us a favor, and learn the rules first!
After you have grasp on the forum rules, be sure to introduce yourself in the Welcome board! Come and share your pictures with us if you like in the Members’ Pictures board.
